So it’s a nice sunny day today but still windy, but rather than ride into the wind on the way home I rode into it on my outbound leg and then had it pushing me home so it’s a better ride than last week

So the weather forecast for Saturday isn’t too bad, sunny with cloud later on, warm and WINDY!!! now not really windy, about 12 mph but enough to make me a very sore man :-(. Anyhow I though I would ride to St Andrews today, haven’t done that in a year so it was about due up. It took me 2 hours 45 min to ride the 55 miles to St Andrews but over 4 fucking hours to ride the 60 miles back home. Head winds are just so evil they kill all my energy reserves and make the ride home a tough one, I even ran out of water 15 miles from home which I’ve never done before, anyway 113 miles clocked and now I’m shattered.
