Well it’s a far better weather day, I actually started the ride in positive temperatures rather than negative ones. Mind you it only got to about 5 degrees today but that meant the roads weren’t full of ice and I could ride a bit safer. It was over cast but at least it didn’t rain with a little bit of wind. This also meant that I had more than one person to ride with today, 7 people turned up today although I started early again today, I was looking to ride about 70 miles again. I took a different route that last weeks and went down to Burntisland and along to Dalgety Bay. I then cut up through Dunfermline to meet whoever turned up at the Glengates for the start of the group ride. We headed the usual route to the cafe stop for coffee and cake and then along to Alloa and the coastal route back, since Ken wasn’t riding today I headed back home through Dalgety Bay to reach my target of 70 miles at an avg speed of 16 mph with a health quota of just under 4000 feet of climbing.
